Job Summary
Listed Derivatives Operations Analyst role focusing on post-trade derivatives lifecycle, including trade capture, clearing, margining, collateral movements, and exception management for futures, options, and other listed instruments. Responsibilities include monitoring activity, supporting margin calls, reconciling cash flows, liaising with brokers/CCPs/custodians, ensuring timely processing in line with deadlines, and contributing to ongoing process improvements and system changes. Hybrid working arrangement in Budapest, with collaboration across Front/Middle Office, Risk, Custody, Technology, and external counterparties. Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of data quality and operational accuracy
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and middle office processes (or the ability to learn quickly)
- Ability to follow established procedures while identifying areas where controls can be strengthened
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and propose practical solutions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across operations, technology, compliance, and other internal teams
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
