Job Summary

Provide leadership assistance in the absence of store or assistant manager by directing part-time employees, securing cash and receipts, and managing store openings and closings. Deliver a pleasant shopping experience by welcoming customers, answering questions, processing transactions, and resolving issues promptly. Educate buyers on products to support informed decisions and maintain high standards of store presentation and safety through cleaning, stocking shelves, and light custodial work. Strictly enforce policies and laws regarding liquor sales to individuals 21 years of age and older. Work 20-25 hours weekly across evenings, weekends, and holidays at Eden Prairie locations, starting at $17.00/hour.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of three years work experience and 1-2 years of post-high school education
  • Minimum of five years work experience
  • Ability to reconcile cash and receipts
  • Knowledge of cash register and point-of-sale procedures
  • Ability to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to bend/stand/reach
  • Successful completion and passing of the City's pre-employment process evaluation
