Job Summary
Welcome customers, answer product questions, and educate shoppers to ensure informed purchasing decisions. Process transactions by strictly adhering to liquor sale policies and age verification requirements. Maintain store presentation through shelving, merchandising, cleaning, and assisting with deliveries. Perform cash reconciliation and inventory tasks while prioritizing multiple activities simultaneously. This part-time role supports the City's liquor store operations, which generate significant annual profits for municipal projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to reconcile cash and receipts
- Knowledge of cash register and point-of-sale procedures
- Ability to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to bend/stand/reach
- Successful completion of City's pre-employment process including professional reference checks, background check, and work verification
