Job Summary
Part-Time Liquor Store Associate at City Gate Liquor Store in Chilliwack, BC. Provide excellent customer service to guests, process register transactions (including refunds and returns), activate gift cards, balance the register drawer, stock and rotate products, receive deliveries, keep store and storage areas clean, and promote sales using product knowledge. Contribute to the team by upholding Integrity, Community and Excellence. Requires Serving It Right license and WSET1 (must be obtained within the first year). Must be 19+ and physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for an 8-hour shift. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, and late evenings; position may require travel to other locations as needed. Based at City Gate Liquor Store in Chilliwack, BC with occasional assignments at other locations.
Required Qualifications
- Serving It Right license is required
- WSET 1 minimum accreditation is required to be obtained within the first year of employment
- Must be over 19 years of age to be considered
- Able to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8 hour shift
- Open availability and able to work varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
