Job Summary
Observe customers and verify identification to prevent sales to underage or intoxicated individuals. Deny alcohol or tobacco sales when required and monitor patrons to stop open containers from leaving the store. Greet, assist, and thank customers promptly while offering product suggestions. Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness, restock supply items efficiently, and operate cashiering equipment accurately. Keep work areas clean, report faulty equipment, and perform other assigned duties including keg configuration, inventory management, and store opening/closing procedures. Requires TIPS training, English/Spanish proficiency, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School / GED
- Must be at least 21 year of age
- TIPS Training required prior to position start date
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- High standard of integrity and reliability
- Basic computer skills required to participate in online training
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in face-paced and busy environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to pull 250 lbs
