Job Summary
Direct all liquor associates, manage merchandising plans, control shrink, and complete inventory rotations to ensure product quality. Establish cleaning programs for display cases, backroom areas, and coolers while maintaining a clean, friendly atmosphere. Supervise staff to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security policies, including governmental weights and measures laws and health department regulations. Monitor cash handling techniques to achieve low over/short levels and verify ID checks. Maintain a well-trained team through effective communication with other departments. This full-time entry-level role requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and standing for extended periods on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to push.
- Ability to pull.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
