Job Summary
Join the North Central Co-op as a part-time Liquor Clerk responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining safe liquor store operations. Duties include handling transactions through the POS system, processing customer purchases, cleaning and stocking merchandise, and preparing cash reconciliations. Candidates should possess good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and stock merchandise. Previous experience in liquor retail and customer service is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 20lbs consistently when stocking
Desired Qualifications
- Previous liquor retail/cashier and customer service experience
- WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) training
- Inventory/Merchandising/Stocking experience
- ProServe Liquor Staff Training
