Job Summary
Install, configure, and sustain Linux operating systems, application software, and system management tools while assisting in the design and provisioning of the enterprise network environment. Prepare and deliver program and user level documentation for system operations and provide technical systems support for project activities. Monitor for performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, interact with technical team leads, and recommend changes to facilitate efficient development. Work independently and in small groups to support the High-Performance Computing environment, GPU computational design elements, and advanced data analytics infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active U.S. Government security clearance
- Ability to obtain a CI polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in network engineering, information systems, computer engineering, or related technical field
- 3 years' experience in System Administration or systems engineering in a Linux-heavy environment
- Experience supporting DevOps Infrastructure
- Experience in the build, operations, and sustainment of LAN/WAN networks
- Experience Implementing DOD Cyber Security requirements
- Experience with physical compute and networking hardware
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and evaluating alternatives to solve complex problems
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Infiband networks and configuration
- Experience with Juniper Network and Security Platforms
- At least 5 years' experience in the above technical qualifications
