Job Summary
Join Plus3 IT Systems as a Linux Systems Engineer to deploy and sustain multi-node Linux HPC clusters, administer workload scheduling platforms, and support distributed compute workloads. The role involves monitoring performance across compute layers and developing automation scripts for efficiency. Candidates must have active TS/SCI clearance, IAT Level II certification, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 6 years in Linux systems administration and hands-on experience with HPC clusters and workload schedulers is required.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Active or ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification
- Minimum 6 years of Linux systems administration experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting HPC cluster platforms
- Hands-on experience with workload schedulers
- Proficiency in Linux command-line administration
- Ability to work onsite
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with parallel or distributed file systems in a cluster context
- Familiarity supporting MPI or OpenMP parallel workloads
- Experience supporting GPU-enabled compute environments and CUDA-based workloads
- Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
