Job Summary
Configure ACAS, evaluate STIG compliance, and perform scans to assess system adherence to security standards. Manage ePolicy Orchestrator for data loss prevention and antivirus, while setting up Kick Start scripts, Boot Servers, and Linux Identity Management systems. Remediate and patch systems using YUM, Ansible, and WSUS Server, and configure audit reduction/SIEM tools alongside firewall management and file sharing with Windows. Maintain a complete system inventory and ensure all configurations align with industry best practices in production environments. This on-site role in Gaithersburg, MD, requires a self-starter with an active Top Secret Clearance and at least eight years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years with BS/BA
- Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
- Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- demonstrable previous experience in Linux System Administration
- proficiency in verbal and written communication with teammates and supervisors
