Job Summary
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SME for enterprise IT support with TS/SCI + Poly clearance; focus on administering Linux/Windows systems, scripting, and automation, virtualization, monitoring, and security practices to enable mission-critical operations for the US Department of War. Responsibilities and skills include configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows environments, CLI usage, scripting (Bash/PowerShell), automation with AD/GP, configuring network services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), managing virtualization (VMware, KVM, Docker, Hyper-V), and using monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Zabbix, ELK); excellent understanding of security practices and protocols; 10+ years of experience; U.S. citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line interface (CLI)
- Some familiarity in scripting languages (e.g Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with system automation tools (e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy for Windows)
- Knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, KVM, Docker for Linux; Hyper V, VMWare for Windows)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Zabbix, ELK)
- Understanding of security best practices and protocols
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance
- US citizenship required
