Job Summary
Engineer, install, and configure new Linux systems, integrating them into the existing environment while overseeing the operation of high-availability setups. Continuously improve monitoring and automation tools, collaborating closely with project leads, developers, and on-site operations teams. Leverage expertise in Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud to drive the development of the Linux environment. This role requires a university degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, and knowledge of modern build tools including Jenkins and Git. Candidates must possess Swiss citizenship or a C permit, pass a security background check, and demonstrate strong German and English language skills. Required Qualifications
- Hochschulabschluss (FH, ETH, Uni, HF) mit Fachrichtung Informatik oder Elektrotechnik oder eine vergleichbare Aus- und Weiterbildung
- fundierte Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Bereich der Linux Systemadministration sowie allen Aspekten der Automatisierung von Systemen (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Chef, Puppet oder Ansible)
- gute Kenntnisse in MS Azure, Google Cloud, VMware und KVM
- Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Skriptsprachen wie Python, Perl und Bash
- Kenntnisse von modernen Build- und Entwicklungsumgebungen wie GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar sowie Atlassian Suite mit Jira und Confluence
- Beherrschen die Sprache Deutsch in Wort und Schrift
- gute Englisch Kenntnisse
- eine Personensicherheitsprüfung bestehen
- Schweizer Staatsbürgerschaft bzw. die Niederlassungsbewilligung C und eine 'reine Weste'
