Linux System Engineer (gn)

Job Summary
As a Linux System Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Linux systems in the POS/cash register area, specifically working with Linux-OS payment platforms such as RHEL and Rocky. Key responsibilities include managing projects involving new operating systems, hardware devices, and third-party applications, as well as building and operating automation pipelines as part of Continuous Integration and Deployment environments using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Podman. The role requires strong Linux expertise to analyze operating concepts and systems for security vulnerabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree or equivalent technical training
- Extensive knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
- Experience in deploying and administering Linux in productive customer environments
Desired Qualifications
- Good knowledge in handling Continuous Integration systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with Continuous Deployment concepts
- Basic understanding of IT security
