Job Summary
Linux Systems Engineer and Linux Systems Administrator on a DevSecOps program. Deploy and integrate applications into a virtualized domain using infrastructure as code to build new hosts, deploy via remote management/PCoIP, and manage permissions for onboarding users. Perform design, analysis, and integration work across the full system lifecycle, with on-site travel to support hardware deployments and on-call duties to meet SLA requirements. Requires Linux proficiency, automation/DevSecOps tooling, AD experience, scripting in Bash or Python, and a current Top Secret/SCI clearance. Location is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA (and related Ashburn, VA locations); strong collaboration across teams, data/storage platforms (VMware, NetApp), security practices (DISA STIGs), and Agile/SAFe environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years with a related Master’s degree
- Well-versed with Linux
- Experience with automation/DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, AccuRev, Gitlab)
- Experience with Active Directory
- Bash and/or Python scripting
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI
- Willing to work full time on-site
