Job Summary
Monitor and tune server performance, provision customer services, and resolve system-related issues while adhering to SLAs. Execute customer-requested changes, manage backups to ensure zero data loss, and verify restoration capabilities. Troubleshoot Linux servers and virtual machines, upgrade systems with new releases, and maintain configuration management logs. Respond to help desk requests and apply firewalling, high availability, and automation tools like Ansible and Kubernetes. Ensure all activities comply with backup policies and CM best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience
- Advanced Linux servers system administration skills
- Very good knowledge of Virtualisation (Proxmox, Xen, KVM, VMware, Openstack, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of opensource database technology both SQL and NoSQL (MySQL, postgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Software development languages (Python, PHP, Java, Perl, Ruby, NodeJS, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of Linux firewalling (iptables, UFW, etc.)
- High Availability and Load Balancing Technologies
- knowledge of Out of Band Management (ILO, IDRAC, etc.)
- Good Network administration skills
- Experience with DevOps tools like (Docker, Kubernetes, LXC)
- Experience with Automation tools Like (Ansible, Vagrant, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- B.Sc. in computer science, computer engineering, Information System or equivalent

- Certificates (Good to have)
- RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- RHCE - Red Hat Certified Engineer
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
