Job Summary
Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Linux servers, implementing and maintaining Trend Micro Deep Security to ensure robust endpoint security and threat detection. Configure anti-malware policies, real-time protection, scheduled scans, and exceptions while integrating security tools with SIEM platforms like Splunk. Manage agent deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting on Linux servers, ensuring compliance with Bosch Cyber security standards. Generate security reports and dashboards for stakeholders, conduct regular security assessments, and coordinate patch management. This role requires 3–7 years of Linux administration experience and 2+ years in endpoint security, with a focus on RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Hands-on experience with Trend Micro Deep Security
- Splunk queries
- Knowledge of malware detection techniques and endpoint protection strategies
- Experience with EDR/XDR tools
- SIEM integration
- Incident response workflows
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
- Understanding of Linux security: File permissions
- Understanding of Linux security: SELinux / AppArmor
- Process monitoring
- Experience in troubleshooting security agents and performance issues
- 3–7 years in Linux administration/security
- At least 2+ years in endpoint security or malware protection tools
- B.E (CS), B.Tech (IT)
