Job Summary
Lead major incident management and root cause analysis activities while driving service delivery, SLA/KPI adherence, and process improvements. Handle Linux server administration, patching, and vulnerability management across RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, and CentOS environments. Support VMware, OpenStack, OCP, and Kubernetes clusters, preparing SOPs, KBs, HLD/LLD, and technical documentation. Automate routine operational tasks using scripting and tools to enhance efficiency. Participate in transition, knowledge transfer, and customer engagement activities within a 24x7 support environment. This role requires 10+ years of experience in enterprise Linux administration and cluster services, with a focus on GreenLake Managed Services and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ Years
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
- RHEL / SUSE / Ubuntu / CentOS Administration
- Red Hat CoreOS & Cluster Services (PCS, SUSE Cluster)
- Linux Security, Release & Patch Management
- VMware, SAN, Cloud & OpenStack Concepts
- Ansible, Shell Scripting & Automation
- Kubernetes / OCP Knowledge
- Red Hat Satellite & SUSE Patch Management
- Incident, Change & Configuration Management
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts
Desired Qualifications
- RHCSA / RHCE Certification
- ITIL Certification
- Experience with HPE Infrastructure & Enterprise Support
- Strong troubleshooting & customer management skills
