Job Summary
Build and configure Linux servers to approved designs and hardening standards while applying patching, package management, and lifecycle maintenance across the estate. Automate build and configuration tasks through scripting and configuration management tooling, then integrate Linux platforms with identity, monitoring, and backup services. Document builds and work within established change control processes to support the delivery of critical capabilities in a secure, high-assurance environment. This contract role requires an NV2+ clearance and is based in Canberra.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on build experience across enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL and derivatives)
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Experience hardening systems to defined security standards
- A disciplined approach to documentation and change control
- You must hold a current Australian Government security clearance at NV2 or above
