Job Summary
Linux Automation Engineer to build scalable automation processes in Linux environments using Python and Bash. Role focuses heavily on automation development (over 60%) while supporting production operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities include building, deploying, and enhancing automation systems; collaborating with engineering, production, and infrastructure teams; troubleshooting automation, OS, and connectivity issues; assisting with BIOS/firmware deployment; supporting provisioning workflows and system configuration; contributing to automation architecture and best practices; participating in infrastructure and connectivity troubleshooting; and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce manual support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of automation engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Linux experience
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency in the US is required for this position due to federal government/military contract requirements
