Job Summary
Linux Administrator responsible for deploying and maintaining Linux distributions across physical and virtual servers, automating tasks with Bash and Python, monitoring system performance with Zabbix, Prometheus, and Nagios, applying security patches and managing user access, designing and executing regular backups and disaster recovery plans, troubleshooting escalated hardware and software issues, and maintaining a wide range of Linux-based business applications and systems including Jira, Confluence, ERP components (Postgres, Java, Tomcat, Zookeeper, Kafka, Logs), Bitbucket, Crucible, Testrail, Perforce, SVN, Git, Nexus repository, Docker (Compose/Swarm), and Ansible; site and services hosted on AWS; also handles Asterisk/FreePBX setups and performs regular disaster-recovery testing; maintains internal documentation and provides technical communication with client engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
