Job Summary
Provide 24x7x365 application support for COTS and GOTS software running on Linux servers in the BIES environment, including code deployments, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. Manage user accounts, access controls, and change requests while coordinating with government personnel, DBAs, and developers for release reviews and testing cycles. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and Sunday morning maintenance windows. Execute installation, debugging, and performance optimization tasks, apply security STIG guidelines, and lead system restoration planning for emergency and routine requests. Maintain application integrity, availability, and security in alignment with DoD Top Secret clearance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years relevant Linux Application Administration experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
