Job Summary
Respond to resident maintenance requests and perform preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, lighting fixes, and basic carpentry. Clean apartment units and community amenities, conduct routine property inspections, and move furniture and equipment as needed. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, working weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled. Assist the Community and Maintenance Directors in managing repairs while living on-site with a rent discount. This role is with Lindsey Management Co., Inc. at The Links at Texarkana.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with a variety of maintenance disciplines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction
- Previous property maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be available to work evenings
- Must be available to work holidays
- Must participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Must live on-site
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC or CPO certification
