Job Summary
Linguistic QA Tester/Proofreader in Hebrew onsite in Austin, TX and CA project field office; proofreading localized content for grammar, typos, punctuation, and political correctness; may translate from English to Hebrew; perform UI testing, conduct test cases, report and verify localization bugs; requires native Hebrew, English fluency, QA/testing experience, bug-tracking, and ability to work onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Hebrew
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
- Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a must-fix and a nice-to-have
- Experience working with test cases and test scripts
- Experience with bug tracking systems
- Ability to clearly articulate reproduction steps for a given issue and communicate critical information
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during non-business hours, weekends, and national/federal holidays
- W-2 eligibility for benefits
