Job Summary
Develop linguistic rubrics, taxonomies, and annotation guidelines while collaborating with clients to design and refine annotation frameworks for multilingual AI projects. Conduct linguistic reviews, quality assurance, and error analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables across ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP workflows. Provide linguistic expertise to improve annotation quality and AI model performance. Requires a Master's or Ph.D. in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, or related fields, with 3+ years of experience in AI language data and native proficiency in Telugu.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field
- Native or near-native proficiency in the target language with excellent English communication skills
- 3+ years of experience in AI language data, linguistic annotation, localization, or speech technology projects
- Proven experience in creating annotation guidelines, rubric/tag development, taxonomy design, and linguistic quality frameworks
- Experience working directly with clients to develop and review linguistic guidelines
- Strong understanding of ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP workflows
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or AI data annotation projects
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
