Job Summary
Develop and review linguistic rubrics, taxonomies, and annotation guidelines for ASR, TTS, transcription, and NLP projects. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to co-develop project-specific linguistic standards and documentation. Conduct linguistic reviews, quality assurance, and error analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables and improve AI model performance. Requires Master's or Ph.D. in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, or Computational Linguistics with 3+ years of experience in AI language data and speech technology. Native or near-native proficiency in the target language with excellent English communication skills is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field
- Native or near-native proficiency in the target language with excellent English communication skills
- 3+ years of experience in AI language data, linguistic annotation, localization, or speech technology projects
- Proven experience in creating annotation guidelines, rubric/tag development, taxonomy design, and linguistic quality frameworks
- Experience working directly with clients to develop and review linguistic guidelines
- Strong understanding of ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP workflows
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or AI data annotation projects
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
