Job Summary
Maintain Plant IT systems by ensuring proper naming, labeling, patching, and antivirus updates while ensuring high operational availability and integrity of manufacturing support equipment. Monitor and support Plant IT networks, servers, client devices, and infrastructure, including troubleshooting manufacturing ticket queues and documenting resolutions. Escalate complex incidents to internal teams or external vendors as needed and identify solutions for business process improvement. Perform asset management for hardware components, including receiving, tracking, and coordinating third-party repairs, while creating and updating technical documentation. Support IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, providing support for manufacturing systems and interfaces such as MES and HMI terminals. Participate in a DuPont shift schedule to support continuous plant operations without on-call support outside assigned shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional work experience in information technology or a related field
- Associate's degree in information systems or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows client operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, and later versions)
- Experience supporting mobile computing technologies, including Android and iOS devices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices
- Experience with backup, restore, and system reimaging software and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person
- Ability to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time
- Must be 18 years of age or older
