Job Summary
Install, weld, test, and repair geosynthetic liner systems including HDPE, LLDPE, and PVC on industrial and environmental sites. Prepare and inspect subgrade surfaces, operate specialized welding and testing equipment, and perform quality assurance checks against project specifications. Follow strict safety procedures, participate in daily tailgate meetings, and assist with logistics, material handling, and job site clean-up. Work in remote areas while traveling to various project locations across Newfoundland. Requires a valid driver's license, physical fitness for outdoor conditions, and experience with geomembrane liners or welding equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with geomembrane liners or welding equipment
- Experience in construction, civil, or industrial environments
- Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor and remote conditions
- Safety-conscious and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working as part of a team and following detailed instructions
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- CSTS, WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, or other safety certifications
- Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation
