Job Summary
Receive incoming linen deliveries, store them correctly, and maintain stock levels in all closets. Distribute linens, sort dirty items for collection, and deliver extra beds and guest-requested supplies to rooms. Assist Room Attendants in maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house zones to 5-star standards while carrying out spring cleaning, high dusting, vacuuming, and moving furniture as directed. Keep corridors and working areas clean, promptly answer the designated pager, and report damages or lost property to the Floor Manager. React immediately to guest requests and follow Firmdale's core values and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to bend, twist, push, and pull furniture
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and materials
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, using systems to update room status
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and personal appearance consistent with uniform standards at all times
- 2+ years of experience cleaning in a hospitality and/or residential setting, or a strong passion for cleaning with excellent attention to detail
- Flexible working hours as scheduled by the department

- Have a good understanding of Firmdale's customer service, being polite and deferential to guests at all times
- Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel and the company
