Linehaul - SYGMA - Danville, IL

Linehaul driver responsible for safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor-trailer. Requires long-haul routes (PA, FL, OH and other states), typically out 2-3 days at a time. Duties include loading/unloading per customer specifications, completing DOT logs and paperwork, maintaining food safety protocols, communicating with management about route or loading issues, and ensuring timely deliveries. Must operate and maintain equipment, build customer relationships, and work flexible schedules including overnight shifts. Requires knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and basic math for planning and reporting; ability to read/write English and perform basic calculations; adherence to safety standards and company policies.
