Job Summary
Transport product from the warehouse to customer locations according to assigned routes and invoices, ensuring timely delivery and accurate case counts. Safely operate a tractor-trailer over long distances in various weather conditions, maintaining proper food safety temperatures and completing all required DOT logs, inspections, and maintenance reports. Load and unload product per specifications while developing relationships with customers through clear communication. Work an overnight schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations, starting at various times as needed to meet customer demands.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment
- Key to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic math functions (e.g. add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to drive a tractor-trailer unit both in the day and at night in a variety of traffic and weather conditions and remain alert and aware of surroundings
- Ability to operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, onboard computer keypad and a 2 wheel hand cart
- Ability to climb in and out of a tractor and trailer

- Ability to work an overnight schedule, including weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call and starting at various times
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree
- 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school
