Job Summary
Drive a tractor-trailer to deliver product from the warehouse to customer locations per invoices and company standards. Safely transports products over long distances, loads/unloads as required, and ensures proper documentation (DOT logs, inspections, load/barcodes) is completed. Maintains food safety protocols (proper temperatures), communicates any route or trailer issues to management, operates and maintains equipment, and provides excellent customer service to establish and sustain positive relationships. Able to work a schedule that may include overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime to meet customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
- Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted in addition to high school diploma
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
