Job Summary
Linehaul Night AZ Driver responsible for safely operating heavy trucks on scheduled routes to ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries. Duties include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo, delivering to assigned points, maintaining delivery records and hours of service, navigating routes including unfamiliar locations, communicating with dispatch and customers, and upholding safety policies. This is a full-time role based in Ottawa, Ontario with Edwards, Ontario location options, requiring an AZ license and 2+ years of experience, with physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license with at least 2 years of experience
- 2–3 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment
