Job Summary
Fabricate linear energetic products using machinery and tools per manufacturing instructions, operating equipment to load, swage, draw, form, extrude, braid, clean, measure, cut, sample, spool, coil, and pack the material. Maintain quality and accuracy standards while adhering to safety protocols for aerospace and defense markets. Work the 2nd shift in Simsbury, CT, reporting to the Production Supervisor of Linear & Transfer Systems. This role supports mission-critical hardware solutions including precision energetics systems, payload subsystems, and satellite/launch vehicle manufacturing capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass aptitude test
- Must be able to pass company administered competency test
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of applicable work experience
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Ability to work independently
- Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment
- Energetic and positive
- Demonstrate capability to use basic measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Background using 5S/Lean Manufacturing principles (preferred)
