Job Summary
The Line Trouble Shooter 1/C T&D safely performs transmission and distribution pole line work including climbing poles and installing or maintaining related equipment. Responsible for emergency duties with minimal supervision and directing lower-rated workers. Must maintain records and adhere to Company safety policies and procedures. Requires experience or training in line work, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved vocational school, institute, or college majoring in electrical and line worker training or previous experience in line work
- Valid Class A driver's license or a Class B driver's license prior to 7/1/2009
- Good record of safe driving
Additional Requirements
- Must reside within 45 minutes of regular reporting location or be willing to relocate within nine months
- Subject to Company random drug and alcohol testing policy
