Job Summary
Conduct home-based therapy sessions for children with autism, implementing evidence-based intervention strategies from the Individual Treatment Plan. Deliver activities including PRT, DTI, arts and crafts, cooperative play, meals, and community outings while recording data and reporting progress or concerns to the supervisor and Interventionist. Work 20 to 25 hours weekly in the customer's home, targeting all program goals on the data form unless directed otherwise by the Lead Therapist or Interventionist.
Required Qualifications
- experience implementing evidence-based intervention strategies
- ability to work directly with children who have autism
- ability to follow a rotation and/or individualized schedule
- ability to work between 20 and 25 hours per week
- ability to record data according to an Individual Treatment Plan (ITP)
- ability to report issues and/or concerns relating to family, customer, or team to a supervisor
- ability to report progress and/or concerns to an Interventionist
- ability to work in a customer's home
