Line Technician - Utility Floater

Line Technician – Utility Floater at Kraft Heinz in Lowville, NY. Responsible for maintenance, repair, and installation of packaging-line equipment including gearboxes, pumps, valves, sensors, motors, conveyors, and robotic systems. Includes upkeep of preventative maintenance schedules, SAP record-keeping, KPI and OEE management, adherence to GMPs and safety standards, and cross-training across lines and equipment. Requires understanding of basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting with willingness to learn welding, machining, and HVAC. Strong collaboration with programmers, contractors, vendors, and service techs; shift flexibility with possible off-shift coverage; emphasis on continuous improvement, documentation, and standard practices. Preferred 3–5 years in mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic fields with leadership and communication skills; compliance with Kraft Heinz policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
