Job Summary
Follow all safety, quality assurance, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) while verifying product quality standards including weights, coding, packaging, and labeling. Operate equipment such as Rothenberg, chipping, bulk packer, and rework systems (Melter/Sepamatic), and maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Provide relief and support for machine operators throughout the department, assist as backup for the Par Room Forklift Operator, and help maintain cleanliness and housekeeping across the plant. Support additional departments and positions as needed. This hands-on role within the Print & Packaging Department at Grassland Dairy Products offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $24.02 with a shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
