Line Staff

As a Floor Staff member at the IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible guest experience from the moment people enter the theatre to after they leave. You will welcome guests, operate the POS system to sell tickets and concessions, control traffic flow in the lobby and auditorium, clean the lobby, auditorium, and concessions stand, and take or sell tickets, or work in the concessions stand. You will provide effective customer service, including greeting and directing guests, announcements, opening doors, and performing other duties as required. Additional responsibilities include ensuring concession stands, lobby, workstations, washrooms, and theatres are clean, stocked, and well-maintained between shows. Nice-to-have qualities include the ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner, following safe workplace practices in a fast-paced environment, and using problem-solving skills to resolve issues or communicate them to managers. Perks include free movie passes, free parking, and other benefits. Availability on nights and weekends is noted; prior customer service experience is an asset but not mandatory. This is a new role with a focus on delivering a welcoming, diverse, and engaging guest experience aligned with IMAX’s culture.
