Job Summary
Perform equipment service, blade maintenance, screen changes, and cleaning on tire shredding and rubber processing equipment. Communicate with Maintenance staff to prioritize needs, complete pre-job hazard assessments, and perform equipment pre-use inspections. Vacuum pipes, crane rails, and equipment using an aerial lift, while manually lifting heavy materials for loading, unloading, and stocking. Assist in operational troubleshooting and adhere to all company policies. This full-time role requires mechanically inclined skills, valid fall protection and aerial lift certifications, and a positive attitude. Required Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined and skilled to use standard hand and pneumatic tools
- Quick to learn with the ability to follow instructions and seek clarity
- Proven verbal and written English communication skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Aware of risks and hazards in a workplace
- Ability to work as a member of a team or with limited supervision
- Use any hand tools that may be required for tasks
- Ability to complete legible written reports as required
- High standards of work, with great attention to detail
- Confident, resourceful, and highly motivated
- Possess a positive 'can-do' attitude
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience, ideally in a Manufacturing/Production setting
- Fall Protection Certification
- Aerial Lift/Scissor Lift Certification
- This is a full time position
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid Certification is considered an asset
- Forklift Certification is considered an asset
