Job Summary
Line Service Supervisor leads and coordinates line service technicians responsible for aircraft refueling and exceptional customer service to general aviation customers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations, training new employees, managing fuel inventories, maintaining and using equipment safely, ordering supplies, and representing Sheltair positively with customers. The role involves facilitating ramp operations (towing, wing-walking, directing and parking aircraft), assisting with staffing and scheduling, and providing input on employee performance and training. The position requires long hours during busy periods and exposure to physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check per FAA and DOT guidelines
