Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation services by safely transporting patients to and from locations and facilities while ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches. Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and record keeping, and effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and partners. Provide shift change information to successive pilots following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details. Accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training. Operate on a 7/7 schedule with on-duty housing.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- 230 pound weight limit with flight gear
- 7/7 Schedule
