Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including aerosol filling machines, conveyors, mixers, and packaging systems. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, lubrications, and adjustments according to established schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns. Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components to maximize productivity. Respond promptly to breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with production and quality control teams to implement improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and adhere to all safety guidelines while working in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems commonly used in aerosol manufacturing equipment
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs using various hand and power tools
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, including lubrication, adjustment, and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Hearing and eye protection required in production areas
- Safety toe shoes required
- 2nd shift M-F 2:30pm-11pm
- 3rd shift S-TH 10:30pm-7am
