Job Summary
Operate mixing, baking, and decorating machinery safely while maintaining production supplies at prescribed levels to prevent line shutdowns. Perform assignments according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies, reading product formulas, temperatures, and times from Building of Materials (BOM). Coordinate product flow with Production Leads, report all production waste, and notify supervisors immediately if food safety or quality issues arise. Ensure strict adherence to SQF, HACCP, and GMP systems throughout production. Maintain good housekeeping, follow dress code standards, and demonstrate the ability to meet production standards within required time in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate mixing, baking and decorating machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Must maintain production supplies at the prescribed levels so that the line does not shut down for lack of product
- Performs assignments in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures
- Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Demonstrates good verbal communication skills
- Able to stay focused in a loud working environment
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
