Job Summary
Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently; maintain sanitary conditions on the line; assist Lead Line Operator and Maintenance Technician in the changeover of equipment; follow PPE and OSHA procedures; ensure 100% accuracy in product and process; contribute to a safe, collaborative team environment; requires high school diploma or GED and one year of manufacturing experience; must have knowledge of OSHA practices, math skills, and the ability to operate forklift; able to diagnose problems, collect data, and multitask in a manufacturing setting; exposed to manufacturing conditions including heat, chemicals, and noise.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- One year of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA practices
- Mathematical skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Able to operate light and heavy equipment including use of forklift
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Able to manage multiple tasks and be flexible in job roles
- Critical-thinking to consider possible causes of an issue and act quickly
