Job Summary
Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently on Barbasol line(s) in Ashland, OH, maintaining sanitary conditions and assisting with equipment changeovers. Adhere to PPE, OSHA procedures, and safe lifting; audit product/process for 100% accuracy; apply math for production calculations; multitask across shifts (First and Second Shift) and collaborate with Lead Operator and Maintenance to ensure safe, high-quality output. Requires a high school diploma or GED and about one year of manufacturing experience; forklift operation and strong safety awareness are essential. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA practices
- Mathematical skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Able to operate light and heavy equipment including use of forklift
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Able to manage multiple tasks and be flexible in job roles
- Critical-thinking to consider possible causes of an issue and act quickly
