Job Summary
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues by performing teardowns and set-ups, completing corrective maintenance work orders, and executing planned maintenance cycles. Replace parts such as motors, gearboxes, and hoses while adhering to GMP and quality standards to ensure efficient production flow. Complete required reports, parts requisitions, and production line drumbeats, including minor line adjustments and code verifications. Work the 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM second shift at the Council Bluffs, Iowa facility, earning up to $26.48 per hour plus attendance bonuses. Requires a sound mechanical background, LOTO/PIT certification, and at least two years of maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical School
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance or related experience
- Knowledge of basic hand/power tools
- Knowledge of Planned Maintenance and Maintenance Work cycle
- Knowledge and skill in pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, piping, and power transmission
- Basic knowledge of welding, machining, and electrical
- Knowledge of Plant safety
- Knowledge of GMP's
- Knowledge of confined spaces
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- LOTO/PIT certified
- Ability to Move up to 75 lbs
- Ability to Read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
- Ability to Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime
