Job Summary
The Line Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates should have a working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, the ability to read blueprints and technical documents, and skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. The role involves performing changeovers, maintaining equipment records, assisting with projects, and participating in training. Physical demands include standing, bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably complete a vocational program with three years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum completion of (2) year vocational school or commensurate experience, preferred.
- Minimum (3) three experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Knowledgeable in 120/230/480 low voltages.
Desired Qualifications
- Desired verifiable training from a technical institution and/or documented equivalent of experiences described in Skill-Sets.
- Good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Fundamental to applied knowledge of electrical theory and principles of operation.
Additional Requirements
- Noisy environment requiring hearing protection; manufacturing environment requiring safety shoes and safety glasses other PPE required based upon specific tasks.
