Job Summary
Lead shop floor operations for sheet metal fabrication, manage a team of operators and technicians, oversee CNC punching operations and programming improvements, ensure production targets, quality standards and safety practices. Coordinate with planning, quality, and maintenance teams; conduct shift briefings; train operators on machine operation, quality requirements, and safety; implement Lean manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen) to reduce downtime and improve productivity. Ensure adherence to process parameters, tooling, and drawings; guide root cause analysis and corrective actions; monitor manpower productivity and efficiency; leverage ERP/SAP for production planning and execution. Requires B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, with strong leadership and sheet metal fabrication know-how.
