Job Summary
Lead daily production operations including line startup, shutdown, break coordination, and staffing assignments to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee, coach, and evaluate production team members while ensuring compliance with TS 16949 requirements, quality standards, and health and safety regulations. Monitor productivity and quality metrics to achieve operational targets, complete production documentation, and conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities. Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and cost reduction while maintaining housekeeping standards. Support recruitment, employee relations, and performance management activities. Work a midnight shift from Sunday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of TS 16949, IATF 16949, ISO, or other quality management systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with production planning, labor management, and performance metrics
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of production processes, safety procedures, and quality management systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in production reporting and workforce scheduling
- Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
