Job Summary
Lead daily production operations by managing start-ups, shutdowns, and line changeovers to maximize uptime and schedule adherence. Direct the production team to meet safety, quality, and efficiency objectives while performing routine quality tests, material verification against the Bill of Materials, and data entry into Syspro. Enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements, and 5S-compliant environment standards through visual inspections, audits, and documentation reviews. Provide backup coverage for production associates during breaks or absences to ensure uninterrupted output. Train and coach machine operators on equipment, material handling, and safety protocols. Lead by example to drive the team toward daily performance targets and maintain accurate production documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good listening and interpersonal communications skills
- Must be able to effectively drive production team to meet the standards
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and write basic English
Desired Qualifications
- Syspro experience a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
